The village Karbinci and the land of  Kar\u2019ba were subject of dispute between the monks of the Hilandar Monastery and the guards of the emperor. The Serbian Emperor Stefan Uro\u0161 IV sent David Mihojevi\u0107, the kefalija (governor) of \u0160tip, in order to determine the boundaries of the disputed land. The Serbian emperor issued on 8th of June 1355 a chrysobull charter. He confirmed the right of the Hilandar Monastery over the village and the land with the boundaries determined by David Mihojevi\u0107. He donated the village with all boundaries, rights, vineyard, mills and fruit trees to the Hilandar Monastery. The Serbian Despot Konstantin Draga\u0161 confirmed the endowment of Duke Dmitr\u044c in a charter from 1388/1389 (Selo Kozijak\u044c s metohom\u044c i s\u044c vs\u011bmi megjami i pravinami i s\u044c vinogradom\u044c i s\u044c mlini i s\u044c vokijem\u044c.
