Jh., aus historischen Erw\u00e4gungen wohl in justinianische Zeit (nach 540). Damals Ausbau des Hafens, wobei unsicher ist, ob die Stadt auch wiederbefestigt wurde; das ummauerte Hafenbecken vollst\u00e4ndig rekonstruierbar. Unmittelbar s. des S\u00fcdkais Fundamente einer dreischiffigen Basilika mit au\u00dfen halbrunder Apsis u. seitlich die Breite des Langhauses \u00fcberragendem Narthex (Reste von Bodenmosaiken erhalten). Die H. Ge\u014drgios-Kirche etwa 1,5 km \u00f6. von Lukisia vielleicht Markierung der mitttel- u. sp\u00e4tbyzantinischen Nachfolgesiedlung: einschiffige Vierkonchenkirche mit hoher achteckiger Pendentifkuppel (Datierung aufgrund der sorgf\u00e4ltigen isodomen Mauerung mit Ziegelumrahmung 2. H\u00e4lfte 11.
