Christianisierung vielleicht schon Ende 4. Jh., jedenfalls gef\u00f6rdert durch offizielle Verbote heidnischer Temple unter Theodosios I. u. deren Zerst\u00f6rung unter Arkadios (Apoll\u014dntempel vielleicht in christliche Kirche umgewandelt). Christentum jedenfalls im 5. Jh. belegt durch Baureste (\u2192 Mon) u. Inschriften, darunter eine mit Erw\u00e4hnung des Bischofs Pantamianos (einziger Beleg f\u00fcr Bistum). \u2192 Pyth\u014d(n).\r\nMon.: Durch Besiedlung in t\u00fcrk. Jh.
