Villehardouin par la Graive u. \u00fcber die \u2192  Sideroporta ins Spercheios-Tal (vor der Schlacht von Pelagonia), 1304 nahm Nikolaus III. von Saint Omer denselben Weg; Grabia lag also am Schnittpunkt wichtiger Verbindungen: die Stra\u00dfen von Theben, Lebadeia u. Daulia bzw. vom Golf von Korinth u. Salona trafen hier zusammen u. f\u00fchrten \u00fcber das Siderokastron in das Spercheios-Tal. 1275 ging die damals im Besitz des Johannes I. von Neai Patrai befindliche Burg so wie \u2192  Gardikia, \u2192  Zetunion und \u2192  Siderokastron als Mitgift an Wilhelm II. de la Roehe u. teilte wohl ab damals das Schicksal letzterer Festung.\r\nMon.: Am linken Ufer des Flusses Kukubistianos aus einem steilen H\u00fcgel (Flurname Pyrgos) \u00fcber der Akropolis des antiken Pindos ausgedehnte Reste einer fr\u00e4nk. Festung; am h\u00f6chsten Punkt (S\u00fcdostecke) Reste eines quadratischen Donjon (7,60 x 7,60 m) bis zu 6 m H\u00f6he, Eingang von SO; weiters Reste der Umfassungsmauer (dem Gel\u00e4nde angepa\u00dft) durchgehend erkennbar; Haupttor (mit Ruine eines Wehrturms) im N, Fluchtpforte am \u00f6. Steilabfall; innerer Burgbereich (S\u00fcdostecke, den Donjon eingeschlossen) zus\u00e4tzlich ummauert; Steilabfall nach S u.
