Piraterieakten genannt\u201a 1325 in einem Brief des Marino Sanudo als Besitz der Malias\u0113noi bezeugt.\r\nMon.: Vorn sp\u00e4tantiken Meth\u014dn\u0113 bei Platanidia am Meeresufer u. z. T. vom Meer \u00fcbersp\u00fclt die Reste einer fr\u00fchchristlichen Basilika mit Mosaiken erhalten. Im MA. die Siedlung vom Meeresufer zur\u00fcckgenommen auf den 250 m hohen H\u00fcgel Palaiokastron zwischen Kat\u014d u. An\u014d Lech\u014dnia, s. vom Dorf Palaiokastron. Reste eines inneren u. \u00e4u\u00dferen Mauerringes aus Bruchstein mit kleinen Ziegeln dazwischen. Im \u00e4u\u00dferen (unteren) Mauerring auf der S\u00fcdseite ein rechteckiger Turm, auf dem Gipfelplateau eine kleine, zerfallene, dreischiffige Basilika. An der von Kat\u014d Lech\u014dnia nach H. Laurentios f\u00fchrenden Stra\u00dfe ein fast quadratischer, viergeschossiger Turm (5,60 x 5,90 m), oben eingew\u00f6lbt, Kuppel-Kamin, Eingang im 1.
