Grab des Gr\u00fcnders an der Nordwand des Esonarthex des Katholikon. In der Folge wahrscheinlich Verfall der Filialen, jedoch Bl\u00fcte des Hauptklosters, insbesondere seines Scriptoriums. Der Abt I\u014dannikios etwa 1208\u20141218 Briefpartner des Michal Ch\u014dniat\u0113s. Das Kl. blieb auch nach 1204 durchwegs in H\u00e4nden griech. M\u00f6nche, seine Abgabenfreiheit wurde 1218 best\u00e4tigt (conventus S. Meletii de Monte Miopoleos), diese Best\u00e4tigung 1236 erneuert, da offenbar \u00dcbergriffe des benachbarten Erzbischofs von Theben vorkamen. \u00dcberfall u. Pl\u00fcnderung durch Theod\u014dros Angelos von Epirus sch\u00e4digten das Kl. schwer (zu datieren vielleicht 1218 anl\u00e4\u00dflich des Annexionszuges gegen Neai Patrai u. Z\u0113tunion); doch blieb es ohne Unterbrechung in Funktion.\r\nMon.: Die Klosteranlage hat etwa rechteckige Form, ist von einer Befestigungsmauer umgeben, an die innen die M\u00f6nchszellen (in zwei Geschossen), die Trapeza (im W, rechteckig, mit einer halbzylindrischen Konche an der s. Schmalseite), Speisekammer, K\u00fcche u. Depotr\u00e4ume angesetzt sind; in der S\u00fcdinauer befestigter Klostereingang. Das Katholikon freistehend: Kreuzkuppelkirche, kpl. Viers\u00e4ulentyp (S\u00e4ulen u. Kapitelle antike Spolien), mit au\u00dfen dreiseitiger Mittelapsis u. zwei halbrunden Seitenapsiden; s. angesetzt eine Taxiarchenkapelle, deren Kuppel direkt auf den L\u00e4ngsmauern ruht. Der Exonarthex etwa 1150 vergr\u00f6\u00dfert u. seitlich so weit hinausgezogen, da\u00df die Taxiarchenkapelle s. mit eingeschlossen ist, u. n. ein Grabraum des Hos. Meletios in den Berg getrieben wurde; unter dem Esonarthex Krypta. Um 1200 ein nach W offener Exonarthex zugebaut. Von der reichen Architekturplastik (Fensterrahmen, Templon, Trapeza) ist viel erhalten. \u2014 Kirchen u. Kapellen au\u00dferhalb des Kl.: Reste einer viers\u00e4uligen Kreuzkuppelkirche (Flurname S\u014dt\u0113riza) n\u00f6. des Kl. will ORLANDOS mit der S\u014dt\u0113r-Kapelle identifizieren, welche Hos. Meletios vom Abt Theodosios als erste Bleibe erhielt. Dem gleichen Kirchentyp geh\u00f6ren die Reste einer Kapelle nahe einer neueren Marienkirche etwa 200 m sw. des Kl. an, welche ORLANDOS aufgrund von Resten des Marmorfu\u00dfboclens gleichzeitig mit dem Esonarthex des Katholikon datiert. Die Kapelle H. Theod\u014droi (etwa 1 km w. des Kl.) ist eine zweis\u00e4ulige Kreuzkuppelkirche, w\u00e4hrend bei den Kapellen H. Nikolaos (w. der H. Theod\u014droi) u. H. Ge\u014drgios (s. des Kl., nahe Oino\u0113) die Kuppel direkt auf den z.
