Jedenfalls nach 1470 wieder eigenes Bistum, Suffragan der neuen M\u0113tropolis Euripos. 1256 von Wilhelm von Achaia besetzt, 1258 R\u00fcckeroberungsversuch durch die Venezianer. 1272 u. 1276 Seesiege des Licario bei Rio, 1276 Eroberung durch die Byzantiner, die von hier aus die Schiffahrt verunsicherten (Piraterie per Grecos de Loreo); 1279 nochmalige Landung Licarios vor der Schlacht von \u2192 Varonda. Wahrscheinlich am Beginn des 14. Jh. die Burg von den Venezianern erworben, die im 14. u. 15.
