Ein Zusammenhang mit dem Bistum Sibiktos, das in einer Notitia aus dem 11. Jh. unter der M\u0113tropolis Neai Patrai angef\u00fchrt ist, besteht nicht, da dieses Bistum zur M\u0113tropolis Euchaita geh\u00f6ren d\u00fcrfte. Wegen der v\u00f6llig ungesch\u00fctzten Lage von Tsiotion (Pharkad\u014dn) ist das byz. Tzibiskos allerdings bei der etwa 5 km n. davon liegenden byz. Burgruine oberhalb von Grizanon zu suchen. Diese Burg Hauptfestung der um den P\u0113neiosdurchbruch zwischen ost- u. westthess. Ebene angelegten Festungen bei Blochos (\u2192 Peirasia), Klokotos (\u2192 Pharkad\u014dn) u. \u2192 Kortiki; gute Sichtverbindung nach Pharkad\u014dn (Klokotos).\r\nMon.: Das gesamte etwa 1 km lange Gipfelplateau des n\u00f6. von Grizanon etwa 300 m emporsteigenden Bergr\u00fcckens ist von einem noch fast zur G\u00e4nze erhaltenen Mauerzug (Bruchstein mit M\u00f6rtel) umgeben. Auf der Westseite zieht sich die Mauer fast bis zum Dorf hinunter, um dort eine Quelle (Reste der Quellfassung erkennbar) u. den Aufgang zur Burg zu sch\u00fctzen. Im n. Teil des Gipfelplateaus drei Zwischenmauern zwischen \u00f6. u. w. Umfassungsmauer, von denen die mittlere mit vier quadratischen T\u00fcrmen u. Treppenanlagen auf der S\u00fcdseite besonders gut erhalten ist (aufgehendes Zweischalen-Mauerwerk aus Bruchstein, M\u00f6rtel u. wenig Ziegelst\u00fcckchen bis 10 m H\u00f6he erhalten).
