Eckpfeiler eines kleinen Bergmassivs (Kote 605) im akarnanischen Hochland. Von der ma. Gipfelbefestigung (L\u00e4ngerstreckung in OW-Richtung ungef\u00e4hr 125m; Breite in Anpassung an das Gel\u00e4nde variabel, aber wohl kaum \u00fcber 30 m) ist die N-Mauer am besten erhalten (Mauerung: Bruchstein, M\u00f6rtel, wenig Ziegel). Die Festung kontrolliert den \u00dcbergang zwischen den Hochebenen n. u. s\u00f6. von Aetos, der ohne Anstieg m\u00f6glich ist, sowie einen Zugang vom Jonischen Meer (Hormos Mytika; \u2192 Kand\u0113les) in die akarnanische Hochebene.
