This record is in the manuscript, which has been preserved in the collection of the \u010cudov Monastery (State Historical Museum in Moscow, \u010cudovskoe sobranie, Nr. 15, fol. 1r). Neboj\u0161a Por\u010di\u0107 proposes a hypothesis, that Junak de Manolo was a Greek and came from the Byzantine Empire. It is also most unlikely that he was identical with Junac\u044c, who according to the Life of the Saint Serbian King Stefan Uro\u0161 III De\u010danski written by Grigorij Camblak (Gregory Tsamblak), was harassing the monks at the Visoki De\u010dani Monastery after the death of Stefan Uro\u0161 IV Du\u0161an. As Junac saw the Saint Stefan Uro\u0161 III De\u010danski in a dream, he fell ill and died after seven weeks. Junak de Manolo is mentioned in the charter of Vladislav II, the son of the Serbian King Dragutin, for the comes (knez) and the Consilium Minor (malo ve\u0107e) of the Ragusan republic from 25th October 1323. He appears as sevast in the charter. Vladislav II, the son of the Serbian King Dragutin, wrote to the goverment of the Ragusan republic, that the merchant Klime Dr\u017ei\u0107 and his brothers payed off their debts. Therefore Vladislav II allowed them again to freely trade their goods in his realm.
