The village of Tavor\u044c is attested in the charter of the Serbian King Stefan Uro\u0161 II Milutin for the Monastery of St George-Gorg (ni\u017ee Tavora) from 1300. The village of Tavor\u044c is mentioned in the boundary description of the property, which belonged to the chapel (kellion) of Saint Petka and was given by the Serbian King Stefan Uro\u0161 II Milutin to the Hilandar Monastery (i na put\u044c kako grede u Tavor\u044c).
